GS and dagger are fully ranged and you can do various kite roles. Revenant is more of a cross between a Death knight, a monk and a Demon hunter. (in gameplay and theme). Because it channels/invokes legends of the past (characters from Gw1) and draw it's power from them. It's a more "spiritual" class. It doesn't feel like a death knight, it feels like a Warrior monk.

Airwolf_von_DOOM. • 2 yr. ago • Edited 2 yr. ago. On top of the efficiency stats, a big point for the general populace is matching classes with races and genders. So what you get is the less popular side are often the ill-fitting ones. Charr mesmer, Norn Thief, Sylvari engineer, that kind of stuff.
