Tab out while the game is running then right-click the speaker option. Choose to Open Volume mixer, then you can see if the game shows up on your main output device. If that doesn't work, try changing the audio device in windows from the default, launch DAI, exit it, then change it back. Sometimes it could also be resolved by just ALT+Tabbing as well. The first is Avast/AVG anti-virus, you have to add dragon age inquisition and (maybe) the origin launcher to an exception. Avast and AVG apparently don't like dragon age inquisition. 2nd fix is go to both the dragon age exe file AND the origin exe files, right click then properties and compatibility.

No. On rare occasion you might get an example like RedAlert which doesnt force Origin, but the main reason EA "came to Steam" was to get people onto Origin and EA Pay. That's why they forced it on games that dont require it, and unfortunately, it's working. #2.
here it was the origin-client that needed to be updated. now it works and I can run it with steam. (I was playing the game years before only with Origin, not on steam now I wanted the goty-edition and I need to start both clients at the same time to run the game) sorry for my "english-for-beginners" ;-)
when EA PLAY came out on steam, you could just right click- manage- cd key-- and get generated CD key for the game. well that video has over 2mil views. people made alot of money by generating keys and selling them to websites. alot of people cant play games play EA PLAY games on steam now .
